Rainy and Snowy Day Outings (Fee based)

Gyms

Gleason’s Gym > Eagan & Maple Grove — Preschool Open Gym includes infants to children in kindergarten. It’s $8 for one child and $10/family. Eagan: M/W 9:30am-11:30am and F 12pm-2pm. Maple Grove: M/W 9:30am-11:30am and Th 1pm-3pm. Punch card available for discounted multiple visits.

Little Gym > St. Louis Park — Various classes available for infants at four months – toddlers. Check out the website for more information. Try an intro class for $20.

Sky Zone > Plymouth & Oakdale — Toddler time (ages 5 and under) is $4 per person and is on Tu/F 9:30-11am.

Pump it up > Eden Prairie, Ham Lake, Oakdale, and Plymouth — $7-8 per child for open jump sessions.

Indoor Playgrounds

Edinborough Park Playpark > Edina — $7 children over 1 yr; adults and children under 1 yr are free

Eagles Nest Indoor Playground > New Brighton — Children 12 months to 2 years are $5.50; parents are free

Lookout Ridge > Woodbury — Children over 1 yr are $4.50

Good Times Park > Eagan — Adults and children under 1 yr are free; children over 1yr — 1 child is $8, 2 children are $15.50, 3 children are $22.50.

Rainbow Swingset Superstore > Bloomington — $6 for a 2 hr play session in the showroom and children under 24 months are free.

Oxford Community Center and Great River Waterpark > St Paul — Check out the website for more information on the Community Center. For the Waterpark, admission is $5 for children under 4′ tall and $6 for anyone over 4′. Mondays and Wednesdays admission is half-price. On Sundays it is $4 per person.

Shoreview Community Center, Tropics Indoor Waterpark, and Tropical Adventure Indoor Playground > Shoreview — The Community Center and Waterpark are $9.75/adult, $8.75/child 1yr+ and children under 1 yr are free with a paying adult. The Indoor Playground is $5/child, ages 1-12 years old. Special discounts are available for Shoreview residents.

Maple Grove Community Center, the Grove Cove (pool and splash pad) and Maple Maze > Maple Grove — Pool is $7/person and children under the age of 1 are free; the Maze is $5.50/person and children under the age of 1 are free. Special discounts are available for families and Maple Grove residents.

Waterpark of America > Bloomington — Ranges from $19.95-35.95 per person, depending on the date and length of visit.

Nickelodeon Universe > Bloomington — All day wrist band $32, or individual points at various price levels.

Museums

Children’s Museum > St. Paul — Ages 1-101 are $9.95 and children under 1 yr are free.

Science Museum > St. Paul — Please see the website for Museum and Omnitheater ticket prices. On Tuesdays from 10am-Noon the Museum hosts Toddler Playdates — purchase a regular adult price ticket and receive a free child (aged 5 and under) admission ticket.

History Center > St. Paul — Admission is $11/adult, $6 children ages 6-17, and children under 6 are free.

Classes at Nature Centers

Tamarack Nature Center > White Bear Lake — Various classes are offered for around $10/class for each parent/child pair

Richfield Wood Lake Nature Center > Richfield — Check out their Program and Event Guide; many classes are only $3.

Dodge Nature Center > West St. Paul — Preschooler/Parent Program for children 3-5 years, $12-14 per class.

Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary > Minneapolis — Nature Tot programs are for children 2.5-5yrs and cost $5 per child and $2 per adult.

Three Rivers Park District > Various locations throughout Hennepin County — Young Children’s Programs geared for children 2-5yrs, Parent/Child classes around $4-5; Drop-Off classes around $10.

Other

Minnesota Zoo > Apple Valley — Children under 2 are free, Children and Seniors are $12, Adults are $18, with membership options available.
